Fortune Bay is a high quality soap that is created for the shaver with sensitive skin. It has healthy ingredients like shea butter, meadow foam oil, rose hip oil, jojoba, vitamin E, honey, aloe, and more - 125g of it in a beautiful tin or tub. And it comes with a matching aftershave lotion. Add water gradually and methodically to produce a thick plume of yogurt-like lather on your brush.
Inspired by Armani Code, the scent is a smokey orange with coconut and tonka bean. Fortune Bay is not a duplicate; it definitely has its own identity. Fortune Bay also has notes of sandalwood, amber, vanilla, rum, and musk. The fragrance is accomplished with a blend of essential oils, absolutes, resins and aroma materials - the exact same stuff used by famous perfume houses worldwide. Having a moderate strength intensity, you won't start your day feeling over-scented.
The Fortune Bay label is a watercolour depiction of a fisherman heading out to the fishing grounds; a scene as common as Fortune Bay fog. It is a wonderful result of a collaboration between us and Canadian artist Bev Middleton (IG: @bjmiddle). If you like it, be sure to tell her so.
